Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, assuming your dog is friendly and can play nicely. We never discriminate by breed or size, but we do not tolerate aggressive dogs.
No, any dog who shows aggressive behavior will be separated immediately, and will not be allowed back in the future. Please understand that a daycare environment is different than home, and dogs may play differently than they do at home. Sometimes behavior issues can be apparent within minutes, and sometimes issues may not develop for several visits. If your dog isn't a good fit at The Ruff Life, it doesn't mean you have a bad dog, but we cannot tolerate aggressive dogs, those who play too roughly, or those who escalate certain circumstances.
My dog plays better with dogs of similar size. How will you ensure my dog will be comfortable at Daycare?
Our flexible play areas enable us to pair your dog with playmates of similar temperament and sometimes by size but we cannot promise that they will be separated by size.
Your puppy can attend as soon as he or she is up-to-date on vaccinations. Give us a call and let's discuss!
No, if your dog is showing signs of illness, we cannot allow your dog in daycare until he or she is healthy. This is for the safety of all our members. Some signs to look for include: sneezing, coughing, runny nose or eyes, diarrhea, and/or persistent vomiting.
We offer overnight lodging to all regular Ruff Life pack members. Our overnight care offers spacious suites for your pup to rest. Your dog will get a morning breakfast service, and an evening dinner service. Additionally, your dog will be walked in the morning, midday, and evening. Your pup will also participate in daycare activities.
Due to limited availability, we reserve overnight lodging for our clients who use daycare services on a regular basis. Please inquire for additional information on becoming part of The Ruff Life Pack.
Currently we will be closed on weekends until Memorial Day.
If there are overnights scheduled we will be open on holidays but we have the right to close.
